Can i stop my mother in law seeing my daughter?
My mother in law hasnt bothered to see my child for 10 mths, she didnt even send a xmas present for my childs 1st xmas! but she gave my partners brothers child expensive gifts, and our child got nothing from her! My partners brothers gf is always txting me telling me what her child gets from my mother in law! My mother in laws started saying that she has more rights over my child than anyone else! She said shes going to take me to court to get costody of my child! She hasnt bothered with my child up untill now so whys she wanting to see my child now. My child doesnt know who she is because she hasnt bothered with my child before! My mother in lawfavors my partners brothers child to ours, my mother in law (MIL) is oover at my partners brothers house every weekend, but she doesnt come to see our child at all! She doesnt even calk to ask how our child is! She now seems to think she can walk bk into our childs life, but i dont want my child to see her and get close to her encase my MIL does this again, i dont want my child getting upset! My child doesnt even know who her grandma is! what should i do?

Why does the media portray as Ron Paul supporters as mostly college kids, when that is not the case at all?
Why does the media act like Ron Pauls supporters are limited to a certain age group when that is certainly not the case? It amazes me how the media tries to sway peoples opinions by dishing out false information so they push a candidate that they are in favor of. Truth is that the college kids are the ones that get all the publicity when they go out into the public and the events preaching his name, but there are tons of Ron Paul supporters everywhere young and old. Ill give you example, my dads friend is 80 years old and loves Ron Pauls ideas and think he is the smartest man for the job. My grandmother is 73 and she thinks he is the greatest and is mad at news outlets like FOX news for not representing a true conservative like Fox would normally do. When I read a Ron Paul book at the library or at borders I have people in there mid 40's coming up to me and asking me what book I am reading and how great Ron Paul is and how he can put this country in a new direction. I had one guy who was about 45 listen to what I was saying to the person saying next to me and he says "Ron Paul, he's the man! He's the only man with enough balls to go after the federal reserve". So why does the media portray this falsehood? Is it because he scares them because he stands for real change and real conservatism, or is it because they are happy the way things are and don't want someone riding in and actually changing things?

About a week ago I was driving and all of the sudden my car started to have acceleration problems then I heard a loud pop and my car started to ride funny I pulled it over and turned it off and then it would not start back up just makes a click. First of all YOUR the one who needs to grow up! Your living under her roof, she has every right to ask when will you be home if your a minor. What would you rather have a mother who worries about you and is only looking out for your best interest. Or a mom who doesn't give a f*** what you do with your self. I'd bet if she did that you would be on here asking "Why doesn't my mom not love me"? Should a lesson horse spook?
My dad owns a horse stable, and now that I'm seeing him..I get to have lessons. I ride a 9 year old gelding. I've only had 2 lessons, and on my second lesson..the horse spooked and took off. When someone shut the dumpster lid, it made a loud noise. The horse kept trying to run around and play with his paddock buddy that was also in the arena. I found it hard to keep control. The owner of the horse(my dad's gf), got on him and said that it wasn't me..it was the horse. When I asked what horse I'll be riding next time, my dad said the same horse. Do lesson horses sometimes spook? He was totally fine my first lesson, and my dad said it was because he was exercised beforehand. He also told me that they will tire him out before my next lesson.

My friend of almost 3 years asked me to buy a large present costing around $270 dollars. I was not invited to the baby shower. I don't know what to do I am pretty upset about not being invited. She said it kind of jokingly asking me and I made a joke back and asked where the registration was and price but I only assumed the details on the invitation. During the sectional finals in Massachusetts a kid was backpacking me (riding legs while I was in a tripod position while I was trying to shake him off.) He was 1/2 way off my back (his head was dangling over mine), so I decided to jump so the kid hit his head/neck against the mat. He laid on the ground for a while as the injury time ran. Eventually he got up uninjured. I was wondering if I could get in any trouble if the kid broke his neck, and was permanently injured.

the new 6th generation nano is AWFUL!!! I don't like touch screens because I'm afraid I'll break it and I don't have a warranty (which is my fault I guess) I miss being able to watch TV shows and movies on car rides, I miss having a built-in speaker when doing the dishes and with friends, I miss it!! Unfortunately, my "baby" (my fifth generation nano) broke JUST as the new ipods were coming out. I wish I'd never gotten the new nano. Hello everyone. I want to know if I am the only one in the world with this problem. I have been in a relationship with a guy for 7 years. I am faithful, loyal, loving, understanding and caring to him and respect his family. But his mom is so mean and apathetic. When I met her she was so mean and judgmental. I am a attractive girl you can see from the picture. His mother calls all her sons girlfriends ugly, dirty, slutty hoars. She hates when her sons met a girl and marries them. She uses any tactic to get her sons to hate them. In my case she played the I hate her because shes American card. She said "I want to be able to understand the girl I am dealing with. Why can't you be with a Dominican girl?" This was annoying because he is so immature and told me all the time that she hates me. She thinks I dress like a slut. blah .,.. No offense but the woman is no fashionista herself. She is 60 years old with a 2nd grade education from DR. In addition she is 4'11 and 175 pound (obese) and has yellow teeth wrinkly skin and is so superficial. She wears jeans and sneakers everyday. She wears Reebok she had for 5 years and judges the way I dress. When I wear classy suits, pencil skirts, and cardigan sweaters. In the summer I wear skirts and sun dresses. Anyhow whenever I am around her she is rude, judgmental, insulting, and belligerent. I tried to be nice to her on her birthday and spend the day with her six years ago. But she is so annoying and criticized me because I had not job at the time and her son did not either. When I did have a job she still talked garbage about me and said Im too ugly to be with her son. Her son is no prize. I broke up with him. Then he kept running back in my life and eventually got me pregnant. During my pregnancy his mom was a uber *****. She told him to leave me. I am way too fat and ugly for him now. When shes fat and busted herself. My boyfriend kicked me out and I lived in a loft with roomates for a while. Then he told me to come back and live with him. I never once asked the woman for anything during my pregnancy. She came to the hospital and when I was ready to give birth and said " My son doesn't like dominican." Thats the first thing you say when you come to the hospital to see your grandson. My mother said " She is so rude and annoying." She kept saying my boyfriends other baby mother is coming to see me. Then I went to her apt with the baby and she was even more annoying. Asking me if my family thinks hes pretty and the baby took the beauty away from me. She had no consideration for my feelings and could not just shut up about imperfections I knew I had from pregnancy. But the insults and annoyance did not stop there. I talked to my boyfriend and he is agreeing with his mother. His mom said something so ignorant and mean spirited " You want somebody too pretty for you." On the phone. I said I hate you and your piggy mom. I am moving out. So I did for a month. My childs father called me everyday and apologized that his mom is so rude and disrespectful. His mom apologized to me and said shes sorry and she did not have a very good upbringing and she never had a good relationship with her mother. I said " I don't care about her feelings if she does not care about mine." I waited a while about seven months. I lost the weight and my skin cleared up. But the mom is just a hater that I cannot visit or give the time of day. Honestly I rather do what the other woman do and never see her again. Keep my son to myself and never let him know his family. My childs father takes him to her apartment and deals with her. Ever since her nasty comments. What would you do in my situation? I asked god but I am so at odds. I keep leaving my partner. But he keeps asking me to come back. So he can have a relationship with his son.

This is gonna sound meen, but trust me my pony was the same way and this worked. Use the Kimberwick, and when he tries to plow his head down. Halt ASAP. Jerk his head up and back him up five steps. Then relax the pressure and try again. Be patiant. This is a long time habit that is gonna take a while to fix. And for stopping, if you are inside, turn his head into the wall. Let him hit his head. It wont hurt nearly as much as you think (that's what my trainer says anyway), and after that first time, he probably will learn his lesson. Don't blame him or yourself. He will learn with time and patiance.

I am paying child support about a month ago the childs mother made him move to her mothers b/c she couldn't handle him. She still collects support and refuses to give her mother any support. I think you should go for the thin jumper and jeans as you can always wear them again and again and mix and match with other clothes that you've got at home. If you still want the tracksuit then maybe add that in later? but its always cheaper to buy more as postage price goes down doesnt it?

Doctor patient confidentiality laws. What is "going too far"?
A friend of mine has a sickly child. Its not a temporary sick, but something that will haunt this child for the rest of their life. Briefly, the child takes medicine in the am and it makes them very tired and move slowly. After the meds kick in and the sickness is not so bad, she goes to school. Everyday. The child makes decent grades. The mother of the child got a letter from the school stating that the child had a lot absences. That was untrue, she had a a lot tardies, but DID in fact go to school. The counselor has called childrens services on the mother and have stated that she is unfit due to the tardies. So, the last time the mother took her child to the doctor, she got an excuse from the doctor stating that what the child was going through was excusable and expected. So when the mother turned in the doctors note to the principal, that should have been a done deal. They school should have recognized the childs disability. After she dropped the doctor note off, the principal called the doctor and told him the students grades were all F's. That was untrue. She is a B student at worst. The principal then told the doctor and the parent that the doctor note was not a valid excuse. How many laws were broken during this little episode? I was curious. I dont have kids and really dont know who to ask. Has anybody else had this kind of experience? It is insane.

Do some of you find the Secret Wonderland perfume from B&BW gross?
I love this scent from Bath and Body Works, a lot. I have been spraying it on myself for weeks. Except the other day it smelled weird. I pulled out a clean fleece jacket from my laundry room to wear to class and I sprayed the perfume on my jacket sleeve, my neck, and shirt. Later on that day after class my boyfriend told me to take off the fleece-jacket because it smelled like corndogs! I was really embarrassed and wondered if it was an after-smell of the perfume. And NOTE: I didn't combine it with other perfumes on myself that day.

I'm starting to hate my mother in law what should I do?
My mother in law is 65 year old woman, always sick and nagging...DRAMA queen, she uses her weakness and life suffering stories as weapons to say and do whatever she likes because she's poor and old...My husband pays her rent + gives her money and I DON"T CARE about that as long as she's away, but that seems not enough, she doesn't like to see me happy, hair done, wearing new cloths or going out or going to my mom's house, she dosen't like my husband to pamper me and spend money on me, she always reminds about a gift she makes to humiliate me, she even called on honeymoon at 6 am in the morning at my wedding she cried all the time, when my baby was born instead of good wishes she said to my baby, " You came to this terrible world full of worries and sadness you will wish to go back to you mom's womb"!! and later she bought gift and came to make it up to me.,..Whatever I say it's wrong. whatever I talk she talks the reverse...She stares at me when I wear something nice, when I was in the hospital after giving birth she started to say stupid things like don't hold your baby! she will get used to holding (imagine after 9 months of waiting I had to hold my child) she kept arguing with me in my weak moments and pains that I should keep my baby crying at night and not hold her to train her to self soothing. She even ashamed me infront of my guests many times, she said that my baby hair will fall eye color will change when she was just born, and none of that happened...Now after few fights with my husband I barely see her once a month but even that visit she spreads poison in her innuendo way and by appearing kind...She makes me understand her mean thaughts in an inderctive way and me all the time I feel speachless and angry cause whenver I answer she says Oh you are getting it that way or even she seems cool and uneffected and don't even listen to what I have to say...Her daughter now is 46 year old and she compares the childhood of her daughter with mine that it's still 6 months old...She never says a good word, when I cook delicious foods and invite her she never says it's tasty she just brags about her daughter and her grandchild (the daughter of her daughter) that's 12 years old she always comapres her with me imagine me 29 years old, that's annoying and stupid, I should ignore her but I can't I'm starting to hate her :( when I breastfeed my child instead of saying bravo she says wait that's nothing the other wife got more milk and gave her baby till 1 year and half (PS I am still breastfeeding) and she never did to any of her childs, the other day I was saying to my baby say mama and she heard it and said don't bother the first word should be daddy not mom ofcourse...and I always take good care of my husband and invite her to please him just because I love him he is on my side but he tells me to consider her as a big baby or a weak person and to ignore everything beacause she dosen't mean any of her sayings and has lack of mental abilities...(But I think she's smart and evil) + She somehow effects him over her old thaughts and beleifs...Again I'm starting to hate her:( what shoud I do...There's Much more but if I write it all I will write a book...

Everybody feels suicidal at one time, especially teenagers. You can't talk anybody out of it. It's more of a time thing, but eventually you'll won't feel it anymore.
Advice and basic tips on horses, thinking of loaning one :)?
I walk behind my horses all the time. The key is knowing the horse. If you know it's personality you should be fine. I am 100% confident that my horses won't kick me. Horses have great eyesight. They can se all around them including their back end. But it is important to make some noise and let them know it's you walking behind them and not another horse. That way they aren't startled.

No excuse -- you now have a life lesson of how your actions affect others. I think it sucks that she listens in on your calls but now you can move forward and remember that others watch and listen...

Am I the only one who didn't know Audrey Hepburn & Julia Childs were secret Agents in WWII?
No because they weren't secret agents. Child's was a research assistant for the OSS during the war. Hepburn lived in Arnhem, Netherlands during the war and studied and worked as a ballerina. She was in Arnhem during the famous Market Garden battle in 1944, but neither one of them was a secret agent.
What happened: i have aquatic turtles together and have had quite awhile in a childs pond?
my water turtles i guess mated. but after few min. theywere connected as they swam around. the top one smaller just drug along. shortly then some of the others started chasing the smaller one as she disconneted and i picked it up it or she or he had a large red thingie hanging out of it. it looked like a liver. damm i have it in a seperated bucket. just looked and the red thing good sized, went back i. i have no clue as to what that is and what happened. please help if you have any knowledge for this scarey incident. thanks so much.

I have tried Slim Fast, Dexatrim, Hydroyxcut, The Grapefriut Diet. The pills made me deathly sick. Due to Degenerative Bone Disease and Degenerative Hip Disease Walking or Riding a Bike are OUT OF THE QUESTION. I am allergic to the Chlorine in the Pool Water.It blistered my skin worse then any sunburn. Cost almost $300 dollars to heal my skin. went to the pool as a teeneager and ended up with Chemical Burns in my lungs and on my Skin.Tried walking this summer and made it maybe 1/4 mile on a flat 1/2 mile flat walking trail. And spent 2 days in bed with sever pain in my back and hips. Had to have help to just get out of bed to go to the bahroom. Now I have tendonitis of the Achillies Tendon of my foot. I know I would feel better if I lost 100 pounds. I tried a stationary bike and the seat hurt my pelvis and my hip bones so bad I could scream. So now I am at a loss on how to get execise. I was going to try Walter Arobics but afraid of the Chlorine in the Water. Any suggestions would be great.
2002 kx 250 not starting!! please help!!!?
hi everyone, today i went outside to ride my kx 250 the bike was perfectly fine i kicked it over and it started the first kick, i went for a little ride up to the park, as i was ridding to the park i tried punching the throttle but at some stages when i punched it it backed off sort of like it was loosing power or wasn't getting spark, anyway the bike kept going bout 20 seconds after i arrived at the park i went to do a lap but the bike felt like it was cutting out slowly slowly as i turned the bike was losing power and just cut out on me, iv never had this problem before the bike starts every time on the first kick, i tried and tried kick the bike over it just wouldn't start, i walked it home and tried to start it again and still didn't start, the bike is in good condition and never brought me problems what could it be restricting the bike from starting????? i don't know if its the spark plug i don't know what it is, i even checked the compression that seems to be fine as well, i checked the fuel and that seems to be running fine.. somebody please help me!!!

I think covering their mouth would make them scream more. Honestly sometimes kids cry for thing like that and that's when you have to ignore them after you tell them they can't have it AND why. eventually they will get it and won't scream for what they want.

No I don't think your son can be chucked out of school. The school needs to be supporting you and getting to the bottom of the bullying. I would ask for a meeting with the head teacher (if not already) to clearly explain what is going on and what you expect them to do about it.
These right wing radio talk show hosts?
To me they seem no different than the regime they denegrate; Hannity, Rush, they are riding on that capitalism train.......pushing web business products like, workathome.com, selling flowers for valentines day. Using the credibility their audience gives them, they use that credibility to turn right around and indorse products to coerce their listeners to buy. And that workathome.com program is described on other posts as pretty darn close to fitting the description of a scam. Does anyone know of a way to get started from home on your pc to build a viable worthwhile business?
Would it be strange to name my child a name so similar to a relatives childs name?
Not at all. My daughter has the same name as one of my hubby's cousins. We didn't name our daughter for his cousin, we both just liked the name though I suppose we wouldn't have liked the name if we didn't like his cousin, who we seldom see. So I don't think it is odd at all. My other daughter has the same name as a distant cousin's daughter, who I also seldom see, but again is someone I like though, I didn't name my daughter for her. I just liked the name. So if you love the name Aurora, which is lovely, then go for it. It's not unusual for family members to like similar names, even if they aren't real close. *:)

ok honey i have a horse so here is my advice never ever stand behind a horse ( i learnt it the hard way !) and never try 2 brush it`s tail make sure that when you r fitting a saddle make sure th you don`t in any way neccseary touch his crouch with the tape measure whaen you are bathing a horse make sure that you always tie it up very tight to a tree or a pole but if you ever do need to go behind a horse make sure you put your hand on its bum when you are going around him and when you are getting on a horse always get in on the left side and make sure you are holding the reighns so thats about all i the advice i can give you if you need some more add me into your contacts and send me an e-mail kk bye love joanna XxxXxx
What do you think about young people dating?
I've found that a lot of people tent to be point blank with kids under 18 dating and say there just to long, and others just say well all they do is hang out. As a 13 year old in schOol I find this very not true. Kids at school are very... Bad. Most parents don't know what there kids are doing, and after researching it for a while I see that parents don't know 10 percent of what there kids honestly think and what they are doing. For ages 18 and under what are your thoughts for dating? And next time there is a parent teacher conference ask your childs teacher what they think, because they know more then anything you would imagine. I've watched the teachers as I am a very observant boy and they may seem focused on grading the papers to your child, but there almost always listening. And I personally think the fact the teachers don't tell the Parents is horrible. What do you think.
How can i get my parents to take me serious about getting a horse?
ive been riding for 6 years now going on 7. im starting to show on of my trainer's horses for her and everytime i bring up the subject to my parents about me chipping in or even just mentioning-oh look how pretty that horse is-my mom flips. my dad is ok with it and would love for me to have one but my mom is always-no its too expensive and we cant do this and that and blah blah blah-i know that we have the money and i know that i am responsible enough and it brings me to tears whenever i think about her not taking it seriously....how do i tell her my feelings with out getting mad? and how do i get her to just listen to me?

like, if the kid is going to be raised in an environment where the mother can afford to even feed the kid? are they better off dead now than dead later? or do you think they deserve a chance even if it will most likely end in more suffering and starving and the death of both the parent and the child? if you can be certain the childs life will be miserable anyways, which choice is better? or if the parent would die from giving birth to the kid?

How did you pick your childs name?
How my parents did it was a baby name book. Then they highlighted all the names they liked for that gender. After that, they wrote those names down on a list. Each day they crossed off one name they didn't like until only one name was left. Then they talked it over and here I am!!!!
Kindergarten Assessment?
I'm being told by my childs preschool teachers that she is smart enough for kindergarten but before I call the school to find out about this I would like some information of my own. So, my question is, are the any online resources I can use to test my daughters skills? Any sort of pre-K assessment test or anything. And one more thing, she is in 3 yr old preschool since her birthday is in Nov. She will have to take 4 yr old preschool next year since she wont be 5 when kindergarten starts.
