How do you deal with a son that wants to marry a woman I do not approve of?

My son is in love with a girl who was abandoned by her boyfriend as soon as he found out she was pregnant. It seems they are very much in love with each other but i am having problems dealing with this as I do not see it right for him to take responsibility for this child. the childs father is no way in the picture
