My leg always slips forward?

When im riding, and especially when im cantering my legs slip really far forward. My instructor tells me to move it back, but it usually slips again in a matter of minutes. Especially when i jump. Does anyone have any tips for keeping my leg in the correct position? I ride bareback a lot and that sometimes helps my position for a short while, but it always reverts back. Thanks!
