Is it ok to wear shorts with a hoodie?

I live in eastern NC and we're having some pretty warm February weather, like with highs in the upper 50's and 60's. Is it ok if I wear shorts with a hoodie or jacket? I'm 14 but I could pass for 12 so I still look like alittle kid, and I hate long pants. But when it's still kinda cold I like to have some warmth, such as from a hoodie. I think it looks alright, but what do you think about wearing shorts with a hoodie?
